Welcome to TaskFlicks.com. These Terms and Conditions (& Terms of Use) govern your access to and use of our platform. By using TaskFlicks.com, you agree to comply with these terms. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Definitions
“Platform” refers to TaskFlicks.com and its associated services.
“User” refers to freelancers, customers, and visitors of TaskFlicks.com.
“Freelancer” refers to a service provider offering services via the platform.
“Customer” refers to anyone hiring freelancers through TaskFlicks.com.
3. User Eligibility & Registration
Users must be at least 18 years old.
By registering, users agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
TaskFlicks.com reserves the right to reject or suspend accounts without prior notice if false or misleading information is provided.
4. Service Fees & Payments
TaskFlicks.com facilitates payments between customers and freelancers.
Withdrawals by freelancers are subject to a 10% withdrawal fee.
Membership is free for the first 3-6 months, after which freelancers will be charged a fee not exceeding R100 per month to remain active on the platform.
5. User Responsibilities
Users must not engage in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical activities.
Freelancers must complete services as agreed upon with customers.
Customers must make timely payments for services rendered.
TaskFlicks.com is not responsible for disputes between users but may intervene at its discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
TaskFlicks.com provides a platform for connecting freelancers and customers but does not guarantee service quality.
TaskFlicks.com is not liable for any loss, damages, or disputes arising from transactions between users.
Users agree to indemnify TaskFlicks.com from any claims, legal fees, or liabilities resulting from their actions on the platform.
7. Cancellations, Refunds, & Disputes
Customers may cancel service requests before freelancers start work. Refunds are subject to TaskFlicks’ Refund Policy (Click on “Refund Policy” to read).
In case of disputes, TaskFlicks.com may mediate but does not guarantee resolutions in favor of any party.
8. Compliance with South African Laws
Users must comply with South African laws, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and Labour Laws.
Users must not engage in discrimination, hate speech, or illegal business practices.
TaskFlicks.com reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities when required.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on TaskFlicks.com, including logos, designs, and text, is owned by TaskFlicks.com and may not be used without permission.
Users retain rights to their uploaded content but grant TaskFlicks.com a non-exclusive license to use it for promotional purposes.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
TaskFlicks.com collects user data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
We implement strict security measures to protect user data but are not liable for breaches beyond our control.
11. Termination & Account Suspension
TaskFlicks.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Users can deactivate accounts at any time, but outstanding fees remain payable.
12. Amendments & Updates
TaskFlicks.com may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
By using TaskFlicks.com, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. You also acknowledge that you have read and fully understood these Terms and Conditions as well as the policies mentioned above.
